I recently bought a 2024 Chevy Malibu at the Jeff Wyler dealership in Louisville, Kentucky. I currently reside in Ohio and Jeff Wyler has a strong name within the area. However, I am highly disappointed and frustrated with my purchase for multiple reasons.
1) It was communicated to me that it was mandatory for us to purchase the “pulse“ which we did not want to partake in. However, after getting a discounted rate, we finally did purchase it and come to find out now the pulse does not work at all. This was a $600+ purchase with nothing to show for it.
2) I was told the vehicle had a quality inspection and come to find out I had warped rotors, bad brake pads, and was told after multiple phone calls that I would have to travel back down to the dealership in Louisville to get them replaced, even though there are multiple Jeff Wyler dealerships in the area where I reside. So I don’t understand why not couldn’t be taken there an covered.
3) To add to the service issues, I did get an inspection at the Springfield Jeff Wyler location and was made aware that I needed fuel service/decarb, an air filter, a tuneup and a transmission fluid exchange totaling over $1,000. This was nothing against the Springfield location. They were just making me aware. However if a quality inspection was completed I feel these issues would of been caught and taken care of.
With all of that being said between the warped rotors, the “pulse” and the vehicle inspection that is over $2000 worth of work that would need to be completed. I have reached out to the Louisville location multiple times to address this and left voicemails with no return phone call. I would please like a phone call to discuss these issues so I can receive a reimbursement, or to get the work completed or can come to some type of resolution.
